Leaving  Indiana, for a week of being a race spectator and riding the back roads and checking out the municipal bicycle amenities.  While there, a friend in San Francisco suggested that we participate in the monthly Critical Mass Ride.

In Bloomington, we where having snow for the first time in over a year, in fact a major ice storm with snow that followed.  Trees looked like glass.  I some way we regreted missing the cross country ski days, but not too much.
